Il en ressort que le secteur a \u00e9volu\u00e9 tout comme l\u2019univers de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence des consommateurs. La structure oligopolistique du march\u00e9 avec les deux g\u00e9ants que sont MCB et SBM tend \u00e0 se fragmenter pour faire \u00e9merger des challengers aux identit\u00e9s bien marqu\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsqu\u2019on demande aux Mauriciens de citer spontan\u00e9ment les banques qu\u2019ils connaissent, on note toujours la place pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rante de La MCB et de SBM qui sont cit\u00e9es par quasiment l\u2019ensemble des r\u00e9pondants. Toutefois, c\u2019est plus d\u2019un Mauricien sur deux qui cite Maubank et Absa. Ainsi l\u2019univers de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence des Mauriciens en la mati\u00e8re s\u2019est \u00e9largi de deux \u00e0 quatre. Alors que la MCB est la banque la plus recherch\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re de cartes, l&rsquo;ensemble de consid\u00e9rations s\u2019\u00e9largit lorsqu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit de pr\u00eats personnel, habitation ou voiture.
